Artist
Damilola Moses Opedun (b. 1983) is a Lagos-based Nigerian visual artist whose paintings examine human emotion, memory, and identity through a distinctive blend of contemporary and historical imagery. A graduate of Auchi Polytechnic and best graduating student in Painting in 2010, he has exhibited widely within and outside Nigeria. His acclaimed Makovenice body of work draws deep inspiration from the Makoko waterside community, producing works that are by turns elegiac and defiant.
